Project Healthcheck Review

An important MI Reporting project, aiming to use an agile / RAD approach, was struggling to deliver on a what had already become a reduced scope. Lewin Alley was engaged to identify the causes of difficulties through review of the approach taken. He was also asked to comment on the development lifecycle employed and the stakeholder engagement approach and processes.

Working through the client's Programme Management Office and Programme Assurance function, a series of one hour interviews was set up with key individuals incuding the Programe Manager, the Project Executive, the Project Managers and the enterprise's Chief Architect.

Findings and recommendations were reported back to - and accepted by - the Project Board (including the Programme Manager) via presentation and a written report produced in a (specified) OGC-like format.
